Why Ban E-NI’s and E-Liquids? July 28, 2010

Filed under: Cigarette News — admin @ 1:52 am

New MHRA proposals would ban the sale of E-NI’s (Electronic Nicotine Inhalators) or the electronic cigarette (specifically the e-liquid that is required to use it). This ban is pointless as E-NI’s are safer, cheaper, healthier and generally better than regular cigarettes. Sign the petition to prevent the ban at www.petitiononline.com If you would like to purchase any products from Totally Wicked UK (www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk) then enter promotional code B24A6 to receive a 7.5% discount on all purchases. The banning of e-cigarettes breaches 2 parts of the human rights act. Ask me for details.

You make a great point. I think another good point is the money that is generated from taxing tobacco products that may be lost to smokers choosing this method of nicotine inhalation as opposed to the analog cancer sticks. I am a vapor and I love it. I buy my products from Totally Wicked and they have a store location right here in my hometown in the states. I am not sure how the UK operates in regards to cigarettes but here in the States there is a federal and state tax on analogs.

I have only been vaping for a month and I love it. I worry that most of the best innovations in PVs, like the Screwdriver, have come from the UK. If they ban the liquids in the UK then we will hit a dry spot in the development of the E-NI. For this reason I, an American, would love to sign that petition, but I am concerned that would cause havok with the UK petition process. Should I be concerned or should I sign it anyways?

Looked at the wrong ingredient label…. you only looked at the e-juice and the tobacco….. need to look at the ingredient list of the government pocket and im sure that will provide an answer…. VAPE ON!

All good points, the proposed ban makes no scene :-( It seems to be all about protecting the profits of tobacco and drug companies and nothing to do with the health of the citizens. Freedom of adults to choose a healthier alternative must be allowed to continue.
